Victory Lap

A 4 x 1 mile relay hosted by Cool Runnings for Black athletes—but all can spectate. In partnership with Black Men Run TC and RUN BLK.
About this Event

Cool Runnings is partnering up with Black Men Run TC and RUN BLK to bring you Victory Lap, a 4 x 1 Mile Relay for Black athletes on Victory Memorial. Each runner will run one mile and be on a four-member team.

To sign up, identify your estimated mile time and pay your $10 bib fee. Then identify your team name or elect to be placed on a team we curate. All paces are welcomed and heats will be assigned based on the estimated team finishing time. Cool Runnings will supply the relay batons. There will be a cash prize for the winning team!

Spectators and volunteers from all racial identities are welcomed as we celebrate and center Black athletes accross the Twin Cities. Any donation amount for your ticket will go towards the programming for Cool Runnings 2027 and is fully tax-deductible as a project of Hatch & Flock.

Cool Runnings is led by Kelsi Sharp and Dr. Terresa Hardaway, certified run coaches brinigng you a Black, queer, and women-led running space where all are welcome.
