Sip & savor a multi-course tea catered by Scheels Catering followed by a program in the beautifully decorated historic courtroom.
Enjoy a presentation by Dr. Kristin Mapel Bloomberg titled “Woman Suffrage and Women’s Rights: A Minnesota and Midwest Perspective”.
Music will also be provided by The New Pearl Buttons, who perform American music of the mid to late 19th century (circa 1845-1900). The ensemble includes mandolin, singers, flute and piano and often plays historic sites in Wisconsin and Minnesota. The band has teamed up with author-illustrator team Dave Geister and Pat Bauer to present educational readings and programs to audiences of all ages, based on their new book B Is For Battle Cry: A Civil War Alphabet.
The cost is $50 per person. All proceeds benefit the Historic Courthouse Restoration Fund. Enjoy a scrumptious tea while helping to preserve this historical landmark!
