Kicking off the ticketed shows, Dub FX will headline Victoria’s 26th Annual Ska & Reggae Festival on the Friday night, bringing his signature fusion of beatboxing, looping, and bass-heavy electronic dub to Ship Point. Known for turning the streets into stages, the Australian-born artist has built a global following with his genre-defying sound that blends reggae, hip-hop, drum and bass, and deep, conscious lyricism. Joining the bill is the feel-good groove machine known as Lazy Syrup Orchestra—a collective of all-star Canadian musicians.
