Excited to officially launch our #first #Victoria #luncheon of the year for ASIS Canadian Pacific Chapter 190.
We’re bringing the security community together on Vancouver Island for an afternoon focused on what matters most right now: developing the next generation of leaders and navigating the rapid convergence of security, technology, and cyber.

Description: The first panel will discuss career development, mentorship, and training. Topics will include lessons learned, pro tips, career growth strategies, and practical advice for the current and next generation of security industry leaders.

Navigating Rapidly Evolving Security Convergence: Technology, AI, and Cyber
Speakers: Tim Rollerson P.ENG., CPP, CISSP, PSP, SSCP (Moderator) (ASIS 190 NextGen Committee Member; Security Design Engineer – PBX Engineering), TBD, TBD, Elis Micka P. ENG (Associate, Senior Design Engineer, Regional Integrated Security Lead – PBX Engineering)
Description: The second panel will examine the security-related challenges and opportunities technological convergence brings to product development, system design, and end-user system use. The panel will discuss strategies for managing convergence risk, implementing converged systems, future-proofing, and refitting existing technological deployments. The discussion will not be limited to only security systems, and will discuss convergence across multiple industries.
Happy Hour & Dress Code
We are pleased to announce that the happy hour will be in one of the Union Club’s Van Den Brink Lounge; however, the Union club does have a dress code. We ask that everyone aim for “Smart Casual” Dress as shown in the Union Club’s “Look Book” found here: https://www.unionclub.com/about-the-union-club-of-british-columbia/guidelines/, but you are welcome to step it up if you choose to. ASIS 190 is looking forward to celebrating with you with a drink in hand and passed canapes during happy hour, which will start at 3:00pm.
