The talk will present the life and work of Victor Arnautoff, with special attention to the mural he created for the Richmond Post Office in 1941. I'll present photos of his major public murals and a few of his other works, and I'll discuss how the Richmond mural reflects and differs from some of the themes he developed in earlier works.
