About this Event
An Afternoon of Mozart with the Vicente Chamber Orchestra Quartet
Join the Vicente Chamber Orchestra for an intimate chamber music performance on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 3:30 PM at the beautiful Westside Conservatory.
This special concert features a handpicked string quartet of VCO’s artistic leaders:
- Zain Khan, Founder and Artistic Director (viola)
- Ken Aiso, Concertmaster (violin)
- Kevin Chen, Co-Concertmaster (violin)
- Caroline Coward, Principal Cellist (cello)
Together, they will present Mozart’s String Quartet No. 19 in C Major, K.465 “Dissonance”—a masterwork renowned for its daring harmonies, elegance, and expressive power. Rarely heard in such an intimate setting, this piece captures both Mozart’s genius and the timeless beauty of the string quartet form.
The afternoon will begin with a warm community gathering: doors open at 3:00 PM, with complimentary fine wine and light bites served before the music begins. Our Music Director, Zain Khan, will also share insights about the VCO’s exciting upcoming 2025–26 season.
Tickets are $50 and directly support the Vicente Chamber Orchestra’s mission to bring world-class performances and meaningful community engagement to Los Angeles.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience Mozart up close, performed by the very musicians who guide and shape the orchestra.
