Vibes In The City : There's No Place Like Home was accepted as an event for NJ PAC's newly launched North To Shore Festival that will make its way to Newark June 21st- June 25th. This event is produced by Vibes In The City LLC in partnership with Al-Munir Consulting LLC as well as Newark's North Ward Councilman Anibal Ramos Jr.

The Inaugural Vibes In The City : There's No Place Like Home event was birthed in 2020 as the world was attempting to bring some form of normalcy back from the initial impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Between January 2016 and March 2020, VIBES IN THE CITY was established as one of the pillar Open Mic/Showcase events in Newark, NJ, hosting over 150 events. In 2019 we even had the honor of producing segments of the Historic Lincoln Park Festival as well as the Award Winning Newark Arts Festival. However, like everything else in early 2020, things came to a halt. For months we continued to engage with our community virtually, but we knew the only way to get our Family back inspired, was to get together as soon as we were able to safely. Fortunately, as things opened up with limitations, we were able to connect with a newly launched Garden/Event Space in North Newark, NJ. The Space was Jannah On Grafton. "There's No Place Like Home" was a 3 Day Event that featured many Local Artists and Vendors from Newark and the surrounding areas. This year, we're adding more elements to the event to enhance the whole experience. Some of those elements include Music Education Panels, Creative Initiatives geared toward the Youth, Wellness Activations, and much more. We will also host Garden Tours throughout the weekend to show the importance of growing sustainable foods and having healthier diet choices in the inner city. We intend to invigorate the weekend residents with the Culture and Good Vibes of Brick City.
