VIBES Edmond’s First Thursdays is an event series held on the first Thursday of each month April -October. Downtown Edmond is bustling with unique local artists sharing their talents, selling their art and performing for a community that is eager to support them. Each month highlights a variety of creative talent, delicious eats and local shopping experiences. VIBES supports downtown businesses while creating a family friendly art hub in central Oklahoma during its seven-month season.
Each month businesses are paired with local visual and/or performing artists. The featured artists are “housed” in and in front of the participating businesses during the event. VIBES functions as a come and go art walk with a twist. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy the art, listen to performing artists, patronize businesses, dine at local restaurants and take part in interactive art while enjoying time with family and friends.
