After a long journey working alongside the city and community, Vibes At Sunset officially returns to Libby Hill Park for our 2026 season opening on Thursday, June 11th from 5pm–9pm.
Libby Hill Park is deeply special to us. Not only is it the birthplace of Vibes At Sunset, but it’s also one of the most beautiful and culturally significant gathering spaces in Richmond and the Church Hill community. To be able to bring this experience back to the hill means everything.
To celebrate the return, we’re honored to welcome Richmond legend DJ Lonnie B as our official special guest for the season opener. His impact on Richmond’s music culture is undeniable, and we’re excited to bridge generations and communities together through music, love, and positive energy.
For everyone new joining us because of Lonnie B or discovering Vibes At Sunset for the first time — welcome 🌞 Vibes At Sunset is a free community-centered experience rooted in music, wellness, culture, creativity, and togetherness. Expect soulful sounds from around the Black diaspora including Afro House, Amapiano, Deep House, Soulful House, R&B, and more alongside wellness vendors, local businesses, beautiful people, and intentional energy.
This is more than an event. This is Richmond. This is community. This is home.
