Ready for a fun, moderately challenging urban hike with a dash of adventure? Join us for this popular Wednesday evening trek that winds through scenic trails with just the right mix of nature and city vibes! ππΏ
π Start Time: Tuesday 5:30 PM sharp!
π Meet at: The Summit House Restaurant, Fullerton (upper back parking lot)
Bring your headlamps or flashlights just in caseβas we catch some twilight magic along the way! πβ¨
What to Expect:
A 4.5-mile loop with a moderate challenge β about 375 feet elevation gain ποΈ
Hiking at a steady, friendly pace β not too fast, not too slow, just perfect for chatting and enjoying the view π£οΈπ
Roughly 2 to 2.5 hours of fresh air, good company, and soul-refreshing trail time ππ
What to Bring:
2 x 16oz water bottles or a 32oz+ hydration pack β hydration is key! π§
Electrolyte drinks and a healthy snack to keep your energy up ππ₯€
Comfortable shoes/boots β hiking shoes are fine, boots work great too! ππ₯Ύ
Headlamp or flashlight for safety as the sun sets π
Hat, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate gear π§’βοΈ

β Respect fellow hikers, volunteer leaders, wildlife, and the environment

A water and gear check may be performed before departure.
For the safety of both the individual and the group, Heritage Hiking Club reserves the right to deny participation to anyone who arrives without sufficient water, proper footwear, required equipment, or who appears unprepared for the advertised conditions.
π Heritage Hiking Club Liability Release
All participants must have a current Heritage Hiking Club Liability Release on file before participating in any day hike or overnight adventure.
If you have not already completed the current release, please contact Bill prior to attending or complete one before the start of the event.
π₯Ύ Group Pace, Volunteer Leaders & Personal Responsibility
Heritage Hiking Club adventures are made possible through the generosity of our volunteer leaders and support team, who freely donate their time to help organize and facilitate these experiences for everyone to enjoy.
Our volunteer leaders are not acting as professional guides, medical providers, rescuers, or personal supervisors for individual participants. They are present to facilitate the group experience and promote a safe, enjoyable, and organized outing for all.
Participants are expected to hike at a pace appropriate for the advertised difficulty level and remain with the group unless otherwise directed by a hike leader.
Every participant is solely responsible for their own decisions, physical condition, fitness level, pace, hydration, nutrition, medications, equipment, and overall personal well-being before, during, and after the activity.
As a condition of participation, every participant is required to have a current Heritage Hiking Club Liability Release on file. That signed release includes Heritage Hiking Club, Bill & Tina Furey, HHC's volunteer leaders, support team members, and other released parties.
Please respect and follow the reasonable directions of our volunteer leaders so we can provide a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for everyone.
