Vibe, check √ Sound Bath
About this Event
A Sound Bath Experience to Relax, Ground & Reset Your Soul
Vibe, check ✓
Time to give yourself some time away from the go, go, go; do, do, do and any sense of needing to FIX.
No expectations. No judgment. No pressure to be anything, accomplish anything, or figure anything out.
Just come as you are.
Vibe Check is an invitation to slow down, get comfortable, and experience an immersive sound bath in a welcoming, stress-free, judgment-free space.
Settle in and allow yourself to simply be as you’re surrounded by the rich, resonant vibrations of Himalayan singing bowls, tranquility bowls, tingsha, Manakamana, the delicate tones of a Koshi Air chime, and other sounds that may include gentle drumming and percussion.
There’s nothing you need to know about sound baths or meditation. There’s nothing you need to do.
Just get comfortable, close your eyes if you’d like, and let the sounds and vibrations meet you where you are.
People who have experienced our sound baths have described them as:
Calming. Relaxing. Peaceful. Centering. Grounding.
A chance to slow down, be still, and simply take in the moment.
One participant described the experience as:
“A relaxing, grounding experience where you absorb vibrations around you…and it really resets your soul.”
AND AFTER THE SOUND BATH…
Don’t rush back into the go, go, go.
Stay awhile. Bring a journal. Feel free to take some time to reflect. Talk to the others who just shared the experience. We’ll ease out of the experience together, giving ourselves about 30 minutes to integrate and reenter the external world.
Come by yourself. Come with a friend.
Come exactly as you are.
No stress. No judgment. Just space to slow down, reset, and check your vibe. ✓
WHAT TO EXPECT
Volume: Himalayan bowls do not get loud the way crystal bowls can. Expect the volume of the experience to range primarily between a quiet office and a conversation, meaning the decibels will be in the 50’s and 60’s range. When I play the frame drums, it’s at a calm steady pace to support humming. When I play the bowls there is space for stillness. And, even when you don’t hear the bowls loudly, you continue to receive the benefits of the vibrations.
Timing: Give yourself enough time to find street parking. Then, plan to get comfortable and relax for approximately an hour as you experience the sounds and vibrations of a variety of instruments. Afterward, you’re invited to stay for approximately 30 minutes to journal, talk, sit as you gently transition back into your evening.
Experience: No previous experience with meditation or sound baths is needed. This experience is for beginners and seasoned sound-bath lovers alike.
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing.
What to bring: Anything that will help you feel cozy and supported while lying on a tile floor; such as a yoga or camping mat, blanket, pillow, eye mask, or bolster.
Contraindications: If you have a medical implant such as a pacemaker, metal, or are pregnant, please message me before the event or let me know when you arrive so I can skip placing a bowl on you. And, if you have a neurological condition such as seizures that are triggered by sound, it is best to avoid this event unless approved by your doctor.
Your only job? Show up, get comfortable, and receive.
