Welcome to the VIA Metropolitan Transit Job Fair happening at VIA Metro Center on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 3:00 PM (Central Time). If you're looking for career opportunities in the transit industry, don't miss this event! Meet with recruiters, learn about available positions for bus operators and mechanics, and take the next step towards a rewarding career.

Bus operators, mechanics and maintenance employees receive uniform allowances. Mechanics also receive tool allowances.

Paid training is provided for new operator hires with classes starting weekly. Applicants must meet the following criteria to apply for bus operator openings:

♦ 21 years or older
♦ Valid Texas driver’s license
♦ Three (3) years of experience driving a vehicle
