Step 1. Choose your level...- Spectator: Join us on the 3rd Thursday of every month for the Jam night, usually at The Bee's Mouth pub basement. Subject to changes so stay tuned on FB od Discord, (🔗👇).
- Easy mode: (workshop) -
Join us for weekly beginner friendly sessions led by an experienced music educator. Learn a part in advance for the jam night from our set list. This is a supportive group to prepare you to join the Jam night if you wish.
These sessions take place every Thursday at the hosts address, DM on Discord or FB for the address (🔗👇).
- Hard mode: (Jam Night) -
Typical band style jams for confident players, every 3rd Thursday of the month. 2 new songs and a selection of previous songs prepared in advance, find out more via the Discord (🔗👇) and be ready to jump straight in.
Step 2. Insert Coins...
- It is free to be an audience member and to participate in the Jam Night, but consider booking online via the eventbrite. There are limited spaces on the mixer and it helps us avoid overcrowding if we know who's coming.
- As a regular member of the weekly workshop sessions, consider supporting us on Patreon (🔗👇). You'll also be helping us on our journey to growing our event.
Step 3. Press Start...
- Participants need to be ready to play by 8, so arrive by 7.30 to set up.
- We welcome mistakes, but only from courteous, aware and repsectful players. Please don't turn up in the hope you can work out something last minute that doesn't actually fit the song.
With that said, don't be afraid to bring us something unpolished.
- With that said our priority is to grow the community of musicians playing video game music. We are aiming to have fun more than deliver flawless performances!
- Audience members (everyone) show love and support to the whole community, regardless of skill level. Our community is about passion for video game music.
