Findings from the three virtual sessions move into the October 22–24 in-person Action Summit, where the three focus areas are considered together to develop coordinated recommendations for policymakers, VSOs/nonprofits, and employers.
October 22 – Policymakers
Policy, funding, regulatory, and systems-level recommendations. 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.Keynote session featuring Margarita Devlin, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Evening reception: 6:00–7:00 PM.
October 23 – VSOs / Nonprofits
Program design, referral pathways, best practices, coordination, and changes veteran-serving organizations can implement. 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.
October 24 – Employers
Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, retention, career development, and how employers can better attract and support veteran talent. 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.
