About this Event
“And while it also offers ten sonically engaging tracks, 70% of them extend over the four-minute mark, with one, “Fragmentation,” clocking in at a face-melting 14:39. Yet, very rarely does any of this drag. Percussion and keys are the stars, boasting front-and-center bragging rights on nearly every song. Sure, the guitars (infrequently) rip, but their limited use turns the alt rock moniker on its head. We’re a long way from crunchy angst, ears tuned to the mercury bursting low-end of bass and drums.”

Vetna are a car crash between different genres and eras, in a comfy, compact format for your own post-modern, liquid entertainment.
A music collective founded by Lorenzo Chia in Turin in 2019 and based in Bristol since 2021, they propose a bold experimentation that begins with alternative-rock and post-rock from the 90s and 00s, and mix it with electronic and ambient music from the same years. Everything spiced up with a strong punk attitude and a hot psychedelic vibe.
Vetna have released their debut album 'As Lips Run' at the end of 2021, and have been touring tirelessly for the following two years around the south of England. They started to record new music with Jim Barr at J&J Studio in Bristol in April 2024, and have released a new single ‘Marta’ in May 2024. This was followed by a second single, 'King Whammy', in 2025. A promising taste of what is yet to come.
Kikker
Kikker are a four-piece from Swansea making abrasive, vital post-punk that sounds like it was dragged out of a burning pub and handed a microphone. Their music is all menace and momentum—basslines that growl, guitars that lurch between chaos and clarity, drums that hit like a warning, and vocals that spit and snarl with intent.
There’s nothing polite about Kikker. They write songs for the fed-up, the wide awake, and the ones who know something’s not right but can’t quite name it. It’s cathartic, confrontational stuff that grabs you by the collar and doesn’t let go.
They’ve been building a name for themselves in the Welsh underground, turning every gig into a kind of controlled demolition. No gimmicks, no filler—just pure, noisy urgency from start to finish.
Pale Spirits
Up-and-coming Swansea-based psychedelic groove-merchants Pale Spirits made their Elysium bow recently and their jam-based, funk-driven melodies had the audience enraptured. One to watch on the local scene.
