Veteran’s Book Month: The Girls Who Stepped Out of Line

Celebrate National Veterans and Families Month with four events focused on veteran authors and stories about veterans
About this Event

Celebrate National Veterans and Families Month with four events focused on veteran authors and stories about veterans that shed light on the military and veteran experience. This event is open to the public.

The first Sunday in this speaker series features Major General (Retired) Mari Eder and her book “The Girls Who Stepped Out of Line”. This book takes you inside the lives and experiences of 15 unknown women heroes from the Greatest Generation, the women who served, fought, struggled, and made things happen during WWII--in and out of uniform, for theirs is a legacy destined to embolden generations of women to come.

Event hosted by Cozy Calico Books, VFW Post 7916, and the Occoquan Historical Society.
