[**Veterans Day**] The Bridges of Manhattan - 5+ Miles

Let's walk the world's most celebrated bridge while taking in stunning views of the city and its harbor. This urban hike starts at the World Trade Center in Manhattan, and takes us through the Brooklyn Bridge into the DUMBO section of Brooklyn. We will walk the Brooklyn waterfront known for spectacular views all around, and take a short bathroom and refreshment break at one of the waterfront food malls. After a walk through a few DUMBO streets, we will cross back into Manhattan via Manhattan Bridge, and explore New York's Chinatown neighborhood. Optional dinner after the hike at one of the Chinatown restaurants (TBA). Let's meet inside the Oculus building, reachable by NYC subway (E train) or PATH train. Dress in thin layers with a windbreaker shell and a hat.

\\*Note\\* We hike at a moderate pace, and never leave anyone behind. Our hikes are not suitable for fast hikers who like to forge ahead of the group.
