The Public Safety Institute Veteran Career Transition Program, led by Sgt. Kyle Dischler, USMC (OIF), was created to help veterans and military spouses successfully transition into rewarding careers in public safety.

Registration Information
FREE Event Registration (Paid Training Program)
Veterans & Military Spouses receive $25 OFF
California BSIS Guard Card Program
• Training Tuition: $100 (after Veteran Discount)
Additional State Fees:
- BSIS State Application: $55
- Live Scan Fingerprinting: Approximately $60 (paid directly to the Live Scan provider)
(Other certification programs also qualify for the Veteran Discount.)
What to Bring
Please bring one of the following:
- DD Form 214 (Honorable Discharge)
- Military ID
- VA Identification Card
- Active Duty or Reserve Military Identification
