About this Event
Vet Nurse Congress runs from 09:00 to 17:00 at the Langford Vets site, BS40 5DU, including an opportunity for a tour of the hospital. Keep an eye on our website for the most up-to-date information.
Our skilled vet nurses will be leading sessions across 6 hours of CPD on topics such as:
- How to ‘do physio’ with inpatients- practical advice from a physiotherapist
- Nursing the neurological patient
- Help, I’m going to pop! The blocked cat emergency
- Matters of the heart
- Working with cats: Reducing fear and top tips for handling
- A practical session with the Langford nurses on placement of central lines
- What’s critical about Endocrinology?
- C-sections; theatre management and nursing
You will receive a welcome pack via email closer to the day, this will contain more information about the schedule and travel information. Topics and speakers subject to change in the event of unforeseen circumstances eg staff illness.
