Vertical Rush will be Buffalo’s first ever rope competition! It will take place May 6th, 2023. Prizes will be awarded to winners of Youth and Male/Female Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced categories. Whether you’ve been climbing for a month, or for decades, Vertical Rush is a great way to challenge yourself to reach new heights this spring!Structure & Scoring Breakdown:
Format: Flash* with On-sight* Advanced category finals
Competition: Flash
3 Climbs, 5 minute max and 1 attempt to complete each climb
Finals: Flash
1 Climb, 5 minute max and 1 attempt
Advanced Finals: On-sight
1 Climb, 5 minute max and 1 attempt
