What You'll Do:
· Explore how Vertical Oyster Gardens (VOGs) work
Learn how oysters grown and how these "gardens" turn docks into living habitat.
· Discover the real impact on our local waterways
Understand how oyster gardens clean water, support biodiversity, and strengthen the intracoastal ecosystem.
· Learn the process to build VOGs
Review the steps to build VOGs that will be installed on City-owned property.
· Build a VOG as a team
Join a hands-on session to assemble a VOG and contribute to local habitat restoration.
