VERSES 2024: Sponsorship Opportunities

The second annual VERSES makers market and community festival will take place at Central Library on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. VERSES is a new fund-and-awareness-raiser, designed to bring art and literacy together at the library! We hope you'll help us celebrate Tulsa's creative communities while supporting the crucial services provided by our adult literacy program. VERSES will feature a variety of local vendors along with live readings, performances, art making, a silent auction, and food and drink from local eateries. We need your support to make the second year of VERSES even bigger and better than the first!

The Ruth G. Hardman Adult Literacy Service provides direct support to adults in Tulsa County who want to build their literacy skills by matching them with volunteer tutors. We work with a wide variety of adult learners including immigrants and refugees, people with physical and developmental disabilities, formerly incarcerated people, people who are recovering from the effects of a stroke, and many more. We have served thousands of adults since our inception in 1977, and it is very typical for us to have a waitlist. We hope you'll help us keep our program strong as we continue our efforts to meet a vital need in our community.
