Het MSK wijdt de voorjaarstentoonstelling aan het werk van de Gentse tekenaar Jules De Bruycker (1870-1945). Een omvangrijk overzicht van 150 tekeningen, aquarellen en gouaches brengt de wervelende, expressieve en bij momenten fantasmagorische beeldenwereld van deze Gentse kunstenaar-observator tot leven.Je bent van harte welkom op vrijdag 21 maart 2025 om 19u voor de opening van de tentoonstelling Jules De Bruycker.
Programma vrijdag 21 maart:
⁕ 19:00 - Deuren open
⁕ 19:30 - Officiële opening door Manfred Sellink (Directeur van het Museum voor Schone Kunsten Gent), Astrid De Bruycker (Schepen voor Sociale Vooruitgang, Gezondheid, Ouderenbeleid en Cultuur) en Johan De Smet (Curator van de tentoonstelling)
⁕ 19:45–23:00 - Toegang tot de tentoonstelling en bar
Inschrijven is niet nodig en iedereen is welkom. Wie voor 19:30 komt, ontvangt een gratis drankje.

This spring, the Museum of Fine Arts Ghent is dedicating an exhibition to the work of Jules De Bruycker (Ghent 1870–1945). An extensive overview of 150 drawings, watercolours and gouaches brings to life the dazzling, expressive and at times phantasmagorical world of this Ghent artist-observer.
Programme Friday 21 March:
⁕ 7:00 pm - Doors are open
⁕ 7:30 pm - Official inauguration by Manfred Sellink (Director of the Museum of Fine Arts Ghent), Astrid De Bruycker (Alderman for Social Progress, Health, Policy on the Elderly and Culture) and Johan De Smet (Curator of the exhibition)
⁕ 7:45 – 11:00 pm - Access to the exhibition & bar
Registration is not necessary; admission is free and everyone is welcome.
