✨ A surprise addition to our 2026 exhibition lineup ✨This June, Bright & Brine opens something a little unexpected.
From June 10 to July 25, we’ll be presenting a special exhibition of selected paintings and photography for sale from the private collection of David and Lorrie Bell Hawkins.
Built over decades of travel, collecting, conversation, and connection, the exhibition includes:
🖼 Select serigraphs by Alex Colville,
✏️ An original hand-drawn Colville sketch,
🎨 Two original Colville oil maquettes,
📷 Historic and iconic photography, including Yousuf Karsh’s portrait of Ernest Hemingway and works by photographers who captured cultural figures, including Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, and Elvis,
🌵 and Original oil paintings and photography inspired by the American Southwest, featuring artists and landscapes from New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas, places that became especially meaningful to David and Lorrie over the years.
A full list will be available through our website next week and published here.
We’re also honoured that David Hawkins, recently awarded the Order of Moncton, will join us for opening night to share stories behind the collection.
