Most people would be surprised by the biodiversity found on the land protected by the Creek 53 Conservancy Trust. We drive along Main Road and catch glimpses of the fields and forest — but how much do we really know about the life thriving there?
With their cameras and a great deal of patience, Creek 53 Resident Photographer Stéphane Hogue, Resident Birder Wayne Grubert and their intrepid volunteers and researchers have caught nature in the act and they want to share their work with us. From wide open landscapes to tiny insect life, they have captured the natural world of Creek 53 in all its diversity and intriguing beauty.
The exhibition opens on Sunday, April 26 with a free public vernissage from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Hudson Creative Hub. Drop by to meet the photographers and chat with Creek 53 volunteers and Trustees.
Our local biodiversity is worth celebrating and protecting. This volunteer organized exhibition is presented purely to raise awareness of our amazing local biodiversity and the importance of conserving it. Original framed or unframed photos and greeting cards will be available for purchase to support the Creek 53 Conservancy Trust.

Peu de gens soupçonnent la richesse de la biodiversité que l'on trouve sur les terres protégées par la Fiducie de conservation du Ruisseau 53Nous longeons la rue Main et apercevons des champs et des forêts, mais que savons-nous vraiment de la vie qui s'y épanouit ?
Appareil photo en main et doté d'une grande patience, le photographe attitré du Ruisseau 53, Stéphane Hogue, l’ornithologue attitré Wayne Grubert, ainsi que les vaillants bénévoles et chercheurs ont saisi la nature sur le vif et ils souhaitent partager leur travail avec nous. Des grands paysages ouverts aux infimes insectes, ils ont capturé le monde naturel du Ruisseau 53 dans toute sa diversité et sa beauté envoûtante.
L'exposition commence le dimanche 26 avril lors d’un vernissage public gratuit de 14 h à 16 h au Centre créatif Hudson. Venez rencontrer les photographes et échanger avec les bénévoles et les fiduciaires du Ruisseau 53.
Notre biodiversité locale mérite d'être célébrée et protégée. Cette exposition, organisée par des bénévoles, vise uniquement à sensibiliser le public à notre remarquable biodiversité locale et à l'importance de la préserver. Des photos originales encadrées ou non encadrées ainsi que des cartes de souhaits seront disponibles à l'achat au profit de la Fiducie de conservation du Ruisseau 53.
