La Fonderie Darling lance sa programmation du printemps lors d’une soirée festive et inaugure les expositions « Simile Aria » de Maggy Hamel-Metsos, et « Absoluité » de Numa Amun.
Cette soirée sera également l’occasion d’échanger avec les artistes en résidence, qui ouvriront leurs ateliers pour présenter leur plus récent travail.

Présentée dans la Grande salle, l’exposition « Simile Aria » explore la mécanique interne du témoignage humain à travers une installation mélodramatique et énigmatique. En utilisant des éléments comme un orgue animé par des compresseurs d'air, des photographies de chanteuses et d'enfants, et une lumière solaire qui embrase ces images, l'artiste questionne la frontière entre l'indicible et le visible, incarnée par la lumière du soleil, tout en interrogeant l'intensité du cri et de la souffrance humaine.

La pratique de Numa Amun se concentre sur la représentation de l'invisible et des expériences transcendantales. À travers une série de peintures hyperréalistes et une manipulation subtile des couleurs et des textures, l'exposition « Absoluité » met en lumière les récentes expérimentations de l'artiste, réalisées suite à une réflexion sur les phénomènes de projection astrale et les états modifiés de conscience, invitant le spectateur à contempler les frontières entre le physique et le spirituel.

Presented in the Main Hall, the exhibition “Simile Aria” is a melodramatic and enigmatic installation exploring the inner workings of human testimony. Using elements such as an organ animated by air compressors, photographs of singers and children, and sunlight that sets these images ablaze, the artist questions the boundary between the unspeakable and the visible, embodied by sunlight, while interrogating the intensity of human cry and suffering.

Numa Amun's practice focuses on the representation of the invisible and transcendental experiences. Through a series of hyperrealistic paintings and a subtle manipulation of colors and textures, the exhibition “Absoluité” highlights the artist's recent experiments with astral projection and altered states of consciousness, inviting the viewer to contemplate the boundaries between the physical and the spiritual.
