As the grand double wedding approaches, Mr King, the billionaire owner of King's Motor's and guest of honour, is called away on urgent business, and his friend, Count Belfiore is asked to impersonate his billionaire boss......
Valeria Perboni’s stylish production has moved the action to a 1950’s USA location, adapting Guildford's Holy Trinity church to the interior of Count Kelbar's home. Sung in English, with surtitles and accompanied by chamber orchestra conducted by the music director, Lewis Gaston.
