Among the venues Bluesy Tuesy is considering, the NESFA library in Magoun Sq Somerville is one of the leading candidates. Kristin has gotten NESFA to generously agree to let her run a dance as a test to see if they might fit our needs in the long term after they re-do their floor this summer/fall and also maybe, just maybe, in the short term as an affordable air-conditioned and accessible space even with the floor missing some vinyl tiles.We're going to be trying the place on - how comfortable is it? What fits and what doesn't? Who will we be if we dance here? Come on down and help us explore! Kristin hosts, Steve will DJ, Omari will do lighting!
⚕️ Please don't wear heavy scents like perfumes and colognes; some members of our community are strongly impacted by them. We are currently mask optional.
Show up as early as 8 p.m. for hanging out, dancing starts at 9 p.m.
We're probably doing a flexible photo/video policy for this event because when we're evaluating venue choices, we'll want to be able to look at how the space flowed.
💲All proceeds will go towards floor repairs!
