VentureVets Launches the Scaling Success Program with Community Collaboration Funds and the Speakeasy!

Thanks to the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, VentureVets is launching its Scaling Success Program, which provides comprehensive technical assistance for growth-stage companies led by veterans, military spouses, and first responders. This program aligns with the Community Collaboration Fund and the Speakeasy's goals of accelerating entrepreneurial journeys and fostering connectivity within Indiana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The proposed initiative will deliver targeted support across key business areas, empowering these founders to scale effectively and sustainably. For this particular focus in 2024-2025, we will focus on entrepreneurs in the construction/trades sector and include the following:

Comprehensive Technical Assistance Modules: Development of custom-fit programs focusing on:

• Operational capacity building
• Workforce development
• Supply chain management
• Product and strategy development
• Innovation and technology application
• Mental health resources
• Capital matching

Industry Expert Involvement: Recruitment of leading experts to provide mentorship and guidance in each Technical Assistance area. These experts will offer ongoing support through workshops, one-on-one sessions, and group discussions.

Access to Resources: Utilize our network that pairs companies with appropriate capital sources to facilitate growth and scalability, including:

• CDFIs
• Gap financing
• Commercial lenders
• Non-dilutive funding
• Angel investors and VC funds
