Be a part of the development of a new play through our Plays-in-Progress (PIP) program. Join Rubicon for a staged reading of the fabulous and funny play Franny – an evening of hearty laughs and heartfelt tears, and a poignant exploration of what it means to be human. Franny is the story of a humanoid robot that has been successfully created by an AI software engineer to be a companion for elderly persons (like his Jewish mom, who is a recent widow and very lonely). Written by Barbara Gural, this reading is directed by Jonathan Fox.
