Free community plant exchange. Come down to Prentiss French park on Sunday at 3pm and meet some of your neighbors and get some new plants for free! We will start a post where people can post what plants they are looking for so if anyone else is growing them they can transplant one or get a couple starts going. You can also post what items you are thinking of bringing under this post. You can bring indoor or outdoor plants, seeds, gardening books, extra pots, mulch, tools or anything plant related. The exchange will work on the honor system so if you bring one tomato start please don’t take ten big fruit trees unless everyone has had a chance to shop and no one else wants them.
If you bring plants please label them and put any information you know like if they like sun, shade, water, etc or if you can please stay and provide any tips you have for your plants. See you next month!
