Inaugural Louisville Children's Festival (11/17/24)Special chance to be a part of this exciting winter family festival! The Louisville Children’s Festival offers opportunity to connect with families living in Middletown, Anchorage, Jeffersontown, Worthington Hills, Bancroft, St. Matthews, Briarwood, Hilldsdale, Cambridge, Watterson, Fisherville, Shelbville, Smithfield, and Louisville area families during the winter. Helps families find area winter classes & programs, resources for their family, connect with local area businesses, find educational resources, health, services that help families, activities, events, childcare, programs for adults/kids, items for their home, shopping or simply connecting with parents / guardians.
When: November 17th 2024 (Sunday, 1PM – 4PM)
Where: MidAmerica Sports Center East - 2401 Stanley Gault Parkway Louisville, KY 40223
Who Attends: Middletown, Anchorage, Jeffersontown, Worthington Hills, Bancroft, St. Matthews, Briarwood, Hilldsdale, Cambridge, Watterson, Fisherville, Shelbville, Smithfield, and Louisville area families.
Expected Attendance: 3,000-4,000+

Why families attend the event: This family event connects parents with winter classes & programs, resources to help families, local community resources, classes (kids or adults), education, childcare, health & wellness, activities, events, items for their house, shopping, or simply things that you need when you are an adult (insurance, buying a home, or just other adult stuff).
What to do at the event:
• Fun items: Fun holiday event that includes special visit with Santa Claus, drop off with list, ornament making, a bounce park, mini golf, laser tag, huge carnival game area - great prizes, a giant inflatable Santa Claus, family bingo, family Price is Right, visits from princesses and superheroes, a performance by magician Michael Principato, music, balloon artists, face painting, candy cane game, a duck matching game, a prize wheel, a lucky coin game, prize pinball, a lollipop game, contests, a bubble zone, free cotton candy, cookies, popcorn, food and treat trucks, and much more!
• Visit Santa Claus!: First 200 families can visit Santa Claus, drop off their wish list and find out if they have been naughty or nice (we are sure nice). Ho, ho, ho, so much special fun.
• What to do at the event: Holiday shopping!! Find local resources, classes, products, kids items. plus discover and shop for neat things for your home.
• How it works: Start at the KidsLinked booth (located just inide the main entrance of the Sports Center – look for the large inflatable Santa Claus). From there you can receive whatever item you signed up to do or directions on where to start the fun. Inside the complex will be the ornaments, carnival tickets, bounce park wrist band, prize wheel, balloon artist and more. Santa Claus will be in the building!
