Vendor Registration for the Twenty-Third Annual Professional Education Day

Registration is OPEN for the 23rd Annual Professional Education Day 2021 Vendors/Exhibitors 

Northern Illinois Affiliate of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society™ (WOCN®)2021 23rd Annual Professional Education Day will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.

We are extending an invitation for your participation at our program. You will have the opportunity to display your products, as well as to introduce new products, to all of our attendees. We anticipate wound, ostomy and continence specialists to participate from all areas, including acute care, long term care, and home health settings. 

Our vendors are important to us and we want to be sure that our attendees have plenty of time to meet with you, so we have scheduled 2 hours and 45 minutes of our event for attendees to spend with you. Since registration and vendor times will begin at 7:00am, we recommend you get to Bobak's Signature Events early to set up. Vendors will be allowed to begin setting up tables at 6:00 AM. Our scheduled vendor exhibit hours will be prior to the beginning of the conference from 7:00 to 7:45 AM, during a scheduled vendor break from 10:30 to 11:00 AM, and during an extended lunch from 12:00 to 1:30 PM.

In the past, we have had a sold-out crowd and expect the same this year! We are really excited about this upcoming event. This year, we will have a lighthouse theme: "Lighting the Way to Success: WOC Nurses are Beacons of Light." We have strong presenters lined up on topics encompassing all three of our core areas of wound, ostomy, and continence care.

Objectives:

At the end of the session the participant will be able to:

1. Discuss the latest and best practice recommendations for IAD / MASD.

2. Discuss issues including CMS regulations regarding avoidable/unavoidable pressure injuries at end of life.

3. State the rationale for different types of ostomies and how they are created.

4. Relate some of the COVID -19 skin disruptions to other skin manifestations that look similar to but are NOT COVID-19 skin issues.

5. Describe usage of the NPIAP: Root Cause Analysis Tool Kit and Clinician Guide Format.

6. Demonstrate assessment and classification of the enteric fistula patient.

Provide all the information requested in the registration form and click on "Place Order." This information will be used to ensure your needs are met (if need access to electricity for beds or demonstration devices) and confirm your participation. After placing your order, you will receive an email with your chosen responses. Please review for accuracy.

If paying by credit card, your transaction will be complete.

If paying by check, please PRINT the email you receive after filling out the registration and send that form and your check for the full amount noted in the email to:

Payment in full is required prior to this event and to secure a spot. Please remember, spaces are limited and tables will be reserved when payment is received in full.

The deadline for check payments will be September 19, 2021 and for credit card payments will be October 3, 2021.

This is a great way advertise your products. We greatly appreciate your continued support to provide Northern Illinois Affiliate of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses and specialists with up-to-date information and education.

At the end of our event, we plan to have a raffle for the conference attendees and would welcome any contributions that you can contribute to our raffle. All attendees look forward to the raffle and it is another great way to get your name out there during the event. We would love you to participate!
