Come learn with us and go home with your own salad kit container of lettuce and herbs. This introductory workshop on the basics of growing vegetables in containers is for people who don't have the space for a traditional in-ground garden. After a talk on container gardening, Master Gardeners will help as you plant your own "salad kit" garden container with lettuce and herbs to take home.
This class is offered free in partnership with Suffolk Parks and Recreation's Active Adults program. Registration is required through the SPR website, and attendance is limited to 25.
