Vegetable and Flower Seedling Fundraiser for the Cottage City Community Garden

Buy your veggie plants locally and help us raise funds for the Cottage City Community Garden for our 2nd Annual Seedling Sale and Fundraiser!

We will be selling a large variety of potted tomatoes, eggplant, sweet peppers, hot peppers, and tomatillo seedlings, all locally grown by our community gardeners. We will also have some annual flowers that are good for cutting and some perenial flowers too. We will be under the tent and gazebos in the Town Hall parking lot, located at 3820 40th Avenue, Brentwood, MD 20722.

Seedlings are priced better than most stores at $ 4 each, or 3 for $10 for vegetables. Flower seedlings sold in 6-cell pack containers are $8.

Note: Please bring your own box, tray, or plastic bag. We will not have boxes or bags available for you to take your seedlings home. Please bring your own.

Parking: There is limited parking available in the Town Hall parking lot. Street parking is available on some neighboring streets. Please be sure to follow all posted signage on side streets.

Payment: Cash preferred. Venmo and Zelle available. No credit or debit cards.

About the Garden: The Cottage City Community Garden opened in March 2010 as the first community garden in the Port Towns of Prince George’s County. We see the importance of a ‘community asset’ like the garden in providing food grown using organic practices to our community and critical community networking and the type of neighbor-to-neighbor interaction and team spirit that helps to build strong communities.
