Join Us at Voices in Council': A Unique Activism Event!🌱Here's your chance to make a difference! We The Free invites activists to attend a Full Council Meeting and ask veganism-related questions to endorse a plant-based lifestyle.
To participate, simply submit your written questions to the Monitoring Officer by mid-day three clear working days before the meeting (link and instructions will be provided).
🌿 Plant Based Treaty will provide questions, or you can submit your own. Volunteers committing to ask questions must attend the event, while others are welcome to join on the day. Briefing and instructions will be provided on the day, and materials can be downloaded in advance.
🎙️ It's your opportunity to amplify your vegan voices, engage with local councillors, and advocate for a plant-based future. After the meeting, join us for a refreshing picnic or head to a local vegan spot for delicious food and great company. Everyone is welcome!
🌍 Ideal for those seeking a different approach to outreach or for whom street activism may not be suitable. This peaceful event allows only the volunteer with questions to speak, while others can support from the audience.
