Please join us for Vegan Connections! On the first Monday of every month (7:30pm PST), we will be holding a zoom meet for new and established vegans to meet like minds, make local connections, and feel heard and supported. It is hard being vegan sometimes, especially if those you love and are surrounded by are not vegan. Therefore, it is important to build a community to reduce feelings associated with loneliness, increase mental well-being, and facilitate support moving forward in all our diverse paths.
This will be a semi-structured meet, including:
- A short meditation
- Land acknowledgement
- Introductions
- Ice breaker
- Space for anyone to share what calls to them
- Provided there is enough time, an open chat
Please note, this is an inclusive and welcoming space. If you want to join and are unsure about the level of participation, please feel free to join and just listen in (without video if you so choose). All we ask is that you turn your video on to say a quick hello so that the space feels safe for everyone.
