Vectric V-Carve Pro - Part 2

The Intro to CNC with V-Carve class is a pre-requisite to take this class.

This is a class for those who are already familiar with V-Carve Pro and the use of the CNC machines in the woodshop. In this class we will explore some of the more advanced features of V-Carve Pro such as 3D carving, the use of AI to genereate designs, the differences between 2D and 3D carving, and the generation of 3D models.

Practices files will be provided to give students the ability to have a hands on experience. It is strongly recommended that you have a laptop with V-Carve Pro installed that you ccan bring to class as this will let you work on your own platform. Students will practice working through and rendering multiple 3D designs. Note that given the time required for 3D carving, we will not run practice carves in this class.

Class is open to ages 16 and up, though minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. The adult must purchase an additional ticket to attend the class.

Closed-toed shoes are required. Safety goggles will be provided. If you wear prescription glasses, you may want to bring your own eye protection. Hearing protection is optional, bring your own if desired.
