Wanna learn to skate and play roller derby?Come and join Volcanic City Rollers for the Rookie Intake Course!
Course Duration: 3 months
📅 1st Session details:
✅ Sunday, August 17 | 12pm - 2pm | Trusts Arena, Henderson (Gear hire available - but if you have your own, you are welcome to bring that too!)
About the Rookie course:
🟠 Months 1 & 2: Two on-skate training sessions per week (Sunday mornings - 10am - 12pm, Wednesday evenings - 7pm - 9pm, subject to change*)
🟠 Month 3: One on-skate training + one off-skate NSO (Non-Skating Official) training per week (Sunday mornings 10am - 12pm, NSO evening TBC)
NSO training helps you understand the rules of roller derby while watching local skaters scrimmage (play a game).

At the end of the course, you’ll play in a graduation game and can continue as a full league skater—exciting!
