The VCFA Writers’ Conference returns August 8–14, 2026 at the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles.
This conference continues the 30-year legacy of the Postgraduate Writers’ Conference and brings together writers who are serious about their work and ready to move it forward.
Each participant is placed in a small workshop of just six writers, allowing for thoughtful feedback, real conversation, and meaningful progress on your manuscript. Every writer also receives a one-on-one consultation with their faculty member.
