Vaseem will be launching the first book in his new James Bond spin-off mystery series led by the Head of Q Branch himself, Major Boothroyd. Quantum of Menace centres on an older version of the beloved character Q from the original Ian Fleming series, most recently brought to life on screen by Ben Whishaw.
After Q is unexpectedly ousted from his role with British Intelligence developing technologies for MI6's 00 agents, he finds himself back in his sleepy hometown of Wickstone-on-Water. His childhood friend, a renowned quantum computer scientist, has died in mysterious circumstances, leaving behind a cryptic note. Q feels compelled to investigate, can he decode the truth behind his friend's death?
