After the success of our first event of the year with Tropical Soundclash, we’re thrilled to reveal our first headline act for 2024: the phenomenal DJ Tina Edwards!

Currently at the forefront of the UK Jazz Explosion, Tina Edwards has spent a decade as a vocal pioneer and DJ for the scene, proving that jazz and club culture are perfect partners. Her sets are known for their contagious energy, spanning West African grooves, Latin-house, and Italo jazz, paying homage to iconic jazz dance nights like Dingwalls and Shiftless Shuffle.
Tina’s versatility has taken her to major stages worldwide, including Lost Village, Love Supreme, North Sea Jazz Festival (Netherlands), JAZZX (Romania), Brick Lane Jazz Festival, and We Out Here. With 2024 shaping up to be her busiest festival season yet, her record bag is packed with surprises!
Tina’s influence goes far beyond the DJ booth. She’s the host of Next Big Thing on British Airways, a resident on Soho Radio, and one of the longest-serving broadcasters on Worldwide FM, where she launched the hit breakfast show WW Daily. She’s also a curator, heading up Queer Jazz to spotlight LGBTQIA+ talent and re:sonate, where she programs diverse cultural projects. In 2022, she presented the BBC documentary JAZZ UK: Spitting Fire, solidifying her role as a tastemaker and trusted voice in jazz.
As if that’s not enough, we’re collaborating with the brilliant Digbeth Jazz, who will bring their best live musicians to set the stage with an hour of live jazz before Tina lights up the dancefloor.
