This summer marks VAR's 6th year of SEEDS! ?✨Short for “Student Engagement and Education for Development and Success”, SEEDS is our annual summer program that aims to uplift San José and Bay Area youth by providing them discussion spaces about history and culture. In turn, they learn how to address their community’s issues through hands-on programming experience.
Every Saturday during the course of nine weeks, students ages 14-24 will engage in curated community spaces, workshops, and planning sessions to learn about current issues impacting their communities, to identify significant issues that resonant with their own experiences, and to configure sustainable solutions to these issues.
At the end of the program, participants will work collaboratively to organize a community-engaged, issues-based project at a public showcase open to all family, friends, and community members to attend. Our showcase this year is scheduled for Saturday, August 12th, 2023.

Kính thưa quý vị phụ huynh và học sinh! Tổ chức Vietnamese American Roundtable (VAR) hân hạnh mang lại chương trình rèn luyện kỹ năng và kiến thức dành riêng cho các bạn trẻ, tuổi từ 14 đến 21. Khi tham gia chương trình này, các em sẽ được rèn luyện kỹ năng làm việc nhóm, kỹ năng phát biểu trước đám đông. Các em còn được trau dồi kiến thức văn hóa dân tộc Việt qua những sinh hoạt đậm chất văn hóa và những buổi giao lưu trò chuyện cùng các anh chị người Việt từ thế hệ trước.
Chương trình sẽ bắt đầu vào tháng 6 năm 2023. Các em sẽ gặp nhau sinh hoạt nhóm vào mỗi thứ 7 từ 10 giờ sáng đến 1 giờ chiều.
