The Portneuf Vaqueros Cowboy Action Shoot is held on the third Saturday of each month year round (weather permitting). There are western cowboy action shooting stages set for all skill levels. Some stages may incorporate single shot long range targets.Instructors are available and new shooters are welcome. If you are a new shooter and would like to try Cowboy Action Shooting, someone will be glad to let you try it out with their equipment.
Setup starts at 9:00. Event starts at 10:00 in Gulleyville (old western town at the Oregon Trail Shooting Range). There is a $10 entry fee. An additional guest fee of $5 will apply to participants who are not members of the range.
