On Saturday, April 12th, the Department of Music would like to invite you to attend Vanguard Music's annual Spring Concert featuring all university music ensembles! The inclusion of all music students, whether they are a major or a participant, results in music of all genres. This variety is guaranteed to present music that you will enjoy! Look forward to hearing from our Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band, and NEW Contemporary Pop Band! About the Conductors -
Kenneth R. Foerch, DMA, is Director of the instrumental field of Vanguard University. He earned a D.M.A. degree from University of Southern California, Masters of Music from Eastman School of Music, and a Bachelor’s of Music from Michigan State University. He performs as an on-call saxophonist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He has also performed with the L.A. Opera, L.A. Chamber Orchestra, and Long Beach Symphony.
Jae Hyeok Jang, DMA, is Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities and Music Education. He received music degrees from Manhattan School of Music (M.M.) and Boston University (D.M.A). Dr. Jang brings rich experiences as a conductor, composer, music educator, and church music minister to Vanguard University. He has trained choirs and orchestras in a broad range of settings from college to secondary school to community music organizations to churches to professional ensembles.

Faculty/Staff/Vanguard Alumni tickets are $7.50 online and at the door (a valid University ID must presented upon arrival). All current Vanguard students receive free admission upon the presentation of their student ID.
