Ten storytellers share original short stories and compete for cash prizes and a spot on our championship stage. Winners determined by audience vote.
STORYTELLERS: Aidan Eric, Alicia L’Archevêque, Avi Dolgin, Cali Haan, Callum Walsh, Karen Spears, Leah Erdos, Mark LeBourdais, Mikenzie Page, and Stephen O’Keefe. The evening will begin with a story from special guest storyteller, 2024 Storytelling Championship finalist Clark Antonich.

The Pleasant, 2434 Main Street at Broadway, Vancouver
Admission: $8 CASH at the door
Venue opens 3pm; show starts 8pm.
Venue is on the #99 B-Line, #9 Broadway, and #3 Main bus routes
The venue sells food and beverages, and accepts cash, credit, and debit.

Early arrival is strongly recommended to ensure admittance and get the best seats. Due to fire safety regulations, if the venue reaches capacity no further audience members will be admitted for any reason. Ballots are only handed out prior to show start; no ballots will be handed out to folks who arrive after the competition begins.
Vancouver Story Slam takes place on the unceeded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, Sto:lo and Tseil Watooth Nations.
