About this Event
The Heritage Fairs Society is a non-profit organization that promotes the education of Canadian history amongst BC Students. Every year, the society plans fairs across the province in which students showcase their projects on a certain aspect of our past.
The Vancouver Heritage Fairs is a regional branch of the society featuring a team of about 30 youth alumni who are passionate about spreading the Heritage Fair experience to elementary school students across their region. The Heritage Fair program fosters a creative environment where students are excited to learn and share.
The Vancouver Regional Heritage Fair allows students in grades 3+ the opportunity to present their projects to community members and adjudicators in friendly competition for the BC Provincial Fair.
The day will be split up into five blocks. The opening and closing remarks (which will include awards). Then three rotating blocks of presentations, a workshop, and the viewing of other students; projects.
