Meet The Presenters
Vince Alcantara
Vince stands at the crossroads of creativity and strategy, combining his seasoned design expertise with a strong marketing background. He thrives in three roles: teaching marketing at a downtown college, mentoring designers through online courses and a positioning program to help them craft brand messages that attract their perfect clients, and managing branding projects worldwide. His multifaceted approach brings brands to life while empowering others to do the same.
Gergo Farkas
Gergo Farkas is a Hungarian born, Canadian photographer based in Vancouver, Canada.
Gergo’s photography explores the urban environment, its inhabitants and their relationship to the natural world. His approach is meticulous with a cheeky peculiarity while embracing spontaneity. The playful interaction of these elements are at the core of his artistic practice and what drives him to keep inspecting daily life and tell stories with his camera.
Gergo is the founder and editor of BROAD magazine, a community driven art publication and creative hive based in Vancouver and read around the world.
Kylie Mangles
The smell of fresh-baked bread instantly connects us to warmth and nostalgia, and Kylie brings this feeling to life through her unique edible art. Starting with homemade biscotti at 16, she now creates custom treats for major brands and campaigns. From intricately designed cookies for conferences to show-stopping cakes for product launches, Kylie’s creations—and her popular behind-the-scenes videos—ignite high engagement and social sharing. With her keen eye for audience appeal, she helps clients make a lasting impression through visually captivating, delicious works of art.
Megan Riddell
A professional real estate marketer, entrepreneur, and the founder of Scribe Copywriting, Megan specializes in crafting brand identity and writing copy for the spaces and places where we live, work, and play. She passionately guides commercial and residential real estate developers, AEC organizations, and marketing teams through project launches and corporate rebrands. Her ability to formulate marketing strategy, develop brand identity, and distill complex ideas into straightforward messaging has allowed her clients to thrive and grow. Outside of her work. Megan is the Director of Special Projects for the Canadian Society of Marketing Professional Services (CSMPS) and an active member of Vancouver’s Urban Experience Alliance.
Ryan Walter Wagner
A lifelong love of photography as a means of expression has driven Ryan Walter Wagner to some impressive achievements — including photographing the Dalai Lama as well as being published & exhibited internationally. It has also honed his photojournalist’s eye and unique style, combining artistic methods with storytelling. A look into Ryan’s portfolio shows you a unique perspective no matter what the situation — not just the beautiful art and light, but also the gritty reality. Each of his photos is a soulful exploration into life, in all its realness.
I grew up bouncing around Western Canada for the first 20 years of my life and ended up in Vancouver, BC in the summer of 1999 where I am currently located and working as an artist & photographer.
