Hi, I’m Alicia. Before building my creative studio, I spent nearly a decade in STEM as a chemist, advocating for the environment through innovations in green tech and decarbonization. It’s in my nature to observe patterns and challenge existing ways of thinking, a skill that still shapes how I approach branding today.
Today, I’m a brand strategist, speaker, and founder of The Daily Atelier, where I teach leaders how to stage Soft Rebellions—creative acts of disruption and gentle risk taking that serve humanity (and not the corporate overlords). My greatest accomplishment in life is being called the Uncle Iroh of branding. 🍵🍃
My work helps creatives and founders advocate for the world they’re aching to see, bake in social consciousness, and create something very clearly human.
Ethan Zargo is a former computer engineer who decided his left brain was getting too muscular, so he went to work on his right. Fifteen years later, he is an internationally award-winning architectural photographer in Vancouver. He won the Applied Arts Award for Architectural Photography and received Honourable Mentions from the Black and White International Photo Awards and the Paris International Street Photo Awards, among others. In June 2026, his work was exhibited in New York. He heard it went well.
Ian Harland is a Vancouver-based photographer whose work spans commercial campaigns, outdoor adventure, wildlife, and editorial storytelling. He has worked with clients including Nikon, Destination Canada, and Destination Vancouver, with photographs published the National Observer, Globe and Mail and Travel + Leisure. His personal work follows his curiosity about people, nature, and the ways we build our lives around what matters to us.
My work is about people, about igniting conversations about inclusion and about building those connections. The buzzwords “Diversity, equity, and inclusion” are at the forefront of so many conversations but my work goes beyond that. For me it’s about championing the communities and groups of people that haven’t yet had a moment to flourish.
As a Commercial Photographer based between Vancouver & Toronto (Canada) and London (England) I strive to work with companies and brands that have a depth of meaning. I want to be the photographer that’s known for my delicate and joyful approach whilst being able to empathize and produce work that people stop and really look at.
After working with people with disabilities from a young age, it was no surprise that as my commercial work grew, my fight for inclusion and representation also grew. In 2022 I was a part of the core team that created Canada’s first exclusively inclusive talent agency and now work closely with the 2 biggest inclusive talent agencies in the world. Together we have been a part of conversations about inclusion for international campaigns.
