​It’s time to bring the underground to the forefront with the "Beat and Greet" – a raw, unfiltered beatbox jam that’s all about community, collaboration, and the beats that keep it all moving! 1 Day before the main event of the Vancouver Beatbox Championships, we're bringing you together for a night that’s as much about the culture as it is about the competition.

Location: The Beaumont Studios B1 Gallery 2109 Alberta Street

Note: This kick-off is by RSVP, limited to 40 spots. Donations are always appreciated, and go a long way to building culture in Vancouver. ​What to Expect:

​Open Beatbox Jam: We aren't here throwing another 'show', this is your chance to cypher with the best. Rock the mic, nod your head, get a shirt signed. This is your chance to jump in and vibe with the city’s finest.

​Shoutout Recordings: Although beatbox in Vancity is only getting better, feel free to shout out the rest of the world! Grab the mic and drop a shoutout to your favorite beatboxers, crews, or competitions (especially for us the WCG). Share the spirit of Vancity to the world!

​**Showcase Roulette: In true underground fashion, we’re keeping it unpredictable. Our showcase roulette is where the magic happens – judges, competitors, and maybe even some heads from the crowd will step up, in a spontaneous display of skills. It’s freestyle at its finest, and you never know what’s coming next.

​Tag Team Battles: This is where it gets wild. We’re mixing it up with random tag team battles that’ll push creativity to the limits. Your favorite beatboxers are teaming up on the fly, creating unexpected duos that bring the funkiest beats, and the freshest routines to your waiting ears. Push the boundaries, and see where it takes you!
